NEW INDIE PRODUCTION CO-OP
Film Actors Café is proud to present an affiliate cooperative filmmaking production company newly formed to continue the work started with my Film Acting Bay Area advanced acting class. The company will focus on producing short films (10 to 20 minutes in length) written around the participants in the class. Structured in an eight week/three hour course, day 1 will be dedicated to developing the characters and story focusing on the strengths and challenges the actors have to optimize the learning process. Day 2 and 3 will be improvising scenes based on the story created and days 4 through 8 will be shooting the film. After principle shooting is complete, post production and finally submission to short film festivals and/or uploading to YouTube.
So far the cooperative has completed shooting one film that is nearing completion of the post production process and we have nearly completed shooting the second. Here’s the opening logo bumper for the co-op.
